As we continue to follow the live coverage and live results, here are the AAU Track and Field Junior Olympics 2023 winners at Drake Stadium at Drake University on Day 3. The list shows the winners from the events that are finals only on Monday, 31 July.
There were several highlighted performers among the AAU Track and Field Junior Olympics 2023 winners on the third day of action on Monday, including the record-breaking performance from Patricio Pardo, who dominated the 12-year-old boys’ 3000m run with a time of 9:33.67 to demolish a 36-year-old mark.
Abby Anderson was also in winning form, winning the gold medal in the 3000m run for 11-year-old girls with a time of 10:24.40, while Emery Zimmerman clocked 10:22.55 to win the 11-year-old boys’ race.
Among the field event winners were Parker Coes, who won the girls’ long jump for a 14-year-old with a leap of 5.67m.
