Kentucky Track and Field signs Alexis Glasco

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Kentucky’s track and field program has welcomed Alexis Glasco, a three-time All-American transfer, to their roster, according to Head Coach Lonnie Greene. Glasco, a junior hurdler, hails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and previously competed for Coastal Carolina for two seasons before transferring.

During her tenure with the Chanticleers, Glasco showcased her versatility by participating in a range of events, including the 60-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, and both the 4×100 and 4×400 relays.

Her impressive performance earned her the title of a three-time All-American, All-Sun Belt First Team selection, and a four-time Sun Belt Champion.

Alexis Glasco recently secured 6th in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2023 NCAA Division I Track and Field Championships, with a personal best record of 11.29 (0.9) in the event.

Before her collegiate career, she led her high school, St. Thomas Aquinas, to three consecutive state championship titles. She also clinched first place in the 300-meter hurdles at the 2021 FHSAA Class 4A Track & Field State Championships, clocking a time of 41.58.
