Fayetteville, AR (Sept. 25) — The 2023 Chile Pepper Festival will take place this Friday (29) and Saturday (30), and below you will find the complete schedule, race times, and divisions for the two-day meeting. The 2023 Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival will be held at the University of Arkansas cross country course in Fayetteville. The course is known to produce fast times and is a combination of grass, cinder, and uneven terrain.
Competition on Friday includes the men’s and women’s collegiate Prairie Fire Pepper races, the women’s Harter’s Habanero 5k, and the men’s McDonnell Memorial 8k. The first event on the course on Friday begins at 3:15 p.m.
Meanwhile, Saturday’s schedule will get going at 7:30 a.m. Open Citizen Run 10k, while the senior high girl’s El Caliente varsity 5k race takes place at 9:00 a.m.
