NEW YORK — The following are the Elite men’s and women’s start lists for the 2023 New Balance 5th Avenue Mile on Sunday, September 10. The New Balance 5th Avenue Mile –known to many as the world’s most iconic road mile race since 1981 –is contested across 20 blocks down Manhattan’s most famous thoroughfare, and this year’s race has attracted yet another world-class field!

The men’s field includes the likes of world 1500m champion Josh Kerr of Great Britain, as well as  2023 Falmouth Mile champion Johnny GregorekCooper Teare, two-time 5th Avenue Mile podium finisher Sam Prakel, and U.S. Olympian Woody Kincaid.

On the women’s side, look out for highlighted runners like American mile record-holder Nikki Hiltz and compatriot and Olympian Elle St. Pierre to lead the way on Sunday.

The field also includes Great Britain’s 2021 New Balance 5th Avenue Mile champion Jemma Reekie, countrymate Katie Snowden, Mexican record-holder Laura Galvan, Australian record-holder Jessica Hull, U.S. Olympian Courtney Frerichs and Jamaican record-holder Adelle Tracey.

You can watch the 2023 New Balance 5th Avenue Mile on Sunday live on NBC nationally, while USATF.TV is to stream the race internationally.
