
(Sept. 30) — The 49th annual Lehigh Paul Short Run 2023 is set to take place this Saturday on the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course in Bethlehem, PA. Live results and updates are available at Leone Timing and you can follow all the actions as they unfold.
The Lehigh Paul Short Run, one of the largest cross-country races in the country, will feature over 5,200 student-athletes from more than 450 colleges and high schools.

Saturday’s action will include 12 races, starting with men’s 8k and women’s 6k, two open races at 9:30 a.m. ET and 10:15 a.m. ET, followed by six college races and concluding with four high school races.

Last year, the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s and women’s teams both took home first prizes in their respective Gold 8K and Gold 6K races.
Several leading NCAA Division I programs, including Boston University, Georgetown, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Howard, Maryland, Navy, Penn State, Princeton, Purdue, Villanova, West Virginia, Wake Forest and Yale, are among the teams in action today.
The No. 11 Georgetown women, the runner up at last year’s event, enters this season in very good form and the Hoyas will be aiming to go one better this season. The women finished fifth at the Virginia College & Open Invitational the last time out.
The event honors the late Paul Short, who was Lehigh’s Business Manager and Assistant Director of Athletics for 29 years.
Meanwhile, admission is free, and parking is available for $10 per vehicle. Cash is preferred and is the fastest method, but credit cards are also accepted. Spectators are advised to arrive early to be sure to see the entire race.
