Elaine Thompson-Herah, the Olympic gold medalist, is set to further her comeback from injuries at the Gala dei Castelli 2023. She will compete in the women’s 100m dash on Monday, September 4. The race will be broadcast live starting at 2:00 p.m. ET from Stadio Comunale in Bellinzona on the AtletikaTV YouTube page.
Fresh off a silver medal win with Jamaica’s 4x100m relay team at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest, where she contested the heats with a brilliant 9.90 seconds split on the second leg, Thompson-Herah is on a mission to regain her form.

The start list also features Tamari Clark of the United States, Zoe Hobbs of New Zealand, and Shashalee Forbes of Jamaica –who are currently the quickest among the entrants, based on their performances in 2023.
However, Thompson-Herah has a personal best of 10.54 seconds, and her new coach is not writing off the 31-year-old returning close to that form in the new future. – Read more: Elaine Thompson-Herah gets new sprint coach, who is she?
