SANTIAGO, Chile (Oct. 21) — Here is the start list for the Men’s Marathon at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, slated for Sunday (22). Live streaming coverage of the race is available on the PANAM SPORTS CHANNEL and the stream and broadcast is available for free in several territories. Follow live results and updates.

The men’s field will feature 14 starters on Sunday, including two from the host nation, Chile, as well runners from the USA, Brazil and Peru, among others.

Peru’s Cristhian Simeon Pacheco comes into the race with the fastest personal best at 2:07:38 and he will start as one of the contenders for at least a podium spot and even has his sights on the 2:09:31 Pan American Games record from 2019.

You should expect a close contest on Sunday, as none of the entrants have personal bests that are significantly faster than their rivals. USA’s Turner Wiley heads into the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games confident of taking home a medal.

He finished 18th at the 2023 Boston Marathon and has a PB of 2:11:59, set in 2022 to place 19th at Chicago.
