MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin 2023 Nuttycombe Invitational take on Friday, Oct. 13 and hosted at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Cross Country Course. The 2023 Nuttycombe Invitational schedule features four races on Friday. The women’s 6k race will kick-start the action at 12:00 p.m. ETm while the 8k men’s B Race will take place place at 12:40 p.m. Meanwhile, the women’s 6k Championship race starts at 1:20 p.m., followed by the men’s 8k Championship at 2:00 p.m.

Wisconsin men enter Nuttycombe at No. 4 in the USTFCCCA national rankings and will take on eight of the nation’s top-10 teams, including No. 1 Northern Arizona, No. 3 BYU, No. 9 Notre Dame, No. 5 North Carolina, No. 6 Syracuse, and No. 11 Texas.

On the women’s side, defending national champion and No. 1 NC State, led by national champion Katelyn Tuohy, who will make her season debut, will start as the one to beat on the women’s side.

Among the teams battling against the Wolfpack are No. 2 Northern Arizona, No. 4 Notre Dame, No. 5 Stanford, No. 8 Washington, No. 9 Florida and No. 10 Colorado.

The host revealed that admission to the event is free, but there will be no spectator parking on site. Parking is prohibited on County Highway PD or County Highway M near the Zimmer Championship Course. Any vehicles violating this will be subject to ticket and tow at the owner’s expense.
