The latest medal standings at the Carifta Games 2024, after the opening session on Day 1 at Kirani James Stadium in St. George’s, Grenada, on Saturday, 30 March.
Following three finals in the morning session of the first day, the defending champion Jamaica leads with two gold medals. Antigua and Barbuda have also secured a gold medal. The Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago each claimed two silver medals.

St. Kitts and Nevis, with three bronze medals, and the host nation, Grenada, with one bronze, are the other countries to have won at least one medal in the morning session on the first day of the competition.
In addition, the Carifta Games 2024 opening session saw a championship record being broken. Maleik Francis of Antigua and Barbuda set a new record in the U17 Boys’ Javelin Throw with an impressive throw of 68.84 meters in the third round, winning the gold medal.
