The latest Carifta Games 2024 medal standings after Day 1 are as follows. At the close of the first day’s competition at Kirani James Stadium in St. George’s, Grenada, on Saturday (30), defending champion Jamaica leads the standings with a total of 28 medals.
The regional powerhouse has already garnered 12 golds, nine silvers, and seven bronze medals, thus far positioning itself as the only nation with a double-digit medal tally heading into the second day of competition.
Meanwhile, Guyana, enjoying a highly productive day in the sprints on Day One, has collected three gold medals to date, while the Bahamas has secured two golds, contributing to a haul of seven medals overall in the standings.
