The 2024 Boston Marathon takes place on Monday, 15 April and fans can watch live streaming coverage of the race on several different platforms. However, for this in the United States and in the Boston area, you can watch the action live on WCVB Channel 5.
On Monday morning, the Elite men will be the first open race on the schedule at 9:37 a.m. ET, followed by the Elite women’s race, starting at 9:45 a.m. The last wave of runners is slated to go off at 11:15 a.m.

This local channel exclusion coverage will start at 4:00 a.m. ET with the live race broadcast starting at 9:00 a.m. ET. Besides the local CBS-affiliated channel, viewers can also watch and follow the 2024 Boston Marathon on ESPN 2, which will provide the live national broadcast of the event from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET. For those who are unable to watch the video coverage, but are still interested in following the action, WBZ News Radio 1030 will deliver audio radio coverage starting at 9:00 a.m.
