USA’s world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson will return to the track for a season Wanda Diamond League meeting this season when she takes on several of her American compatriots in Suzhou on Saturday (27).
Richardson, who opened her campaign with a second-place finish in the 200m at the Xiamen Diamond League meeting last weekend, will be back in action in the half-lap event and she is aiming to bounce back from the surprise defeat to Australian teenager Torrie Lewis last time out.
Lewis, who is part of the Australian team for the World Relays in the Bahamas, will not be in this weekend’s race, but Richardson is still expected to face a strong field.
