Some of the world’s top track and field athletes are gearing up for action at the upcoming Wanda Diamond League event in Suzhou this Saturday, marking the city’s debut on the prestigious one-day circuit for athletics.
Who to watch in Suzhou?
Following Mondo Duplantis’ remarkable world record performance at the season opener in Xiamen last week, anticipation is high for more thrilling displays in Suzhou. The Swede leads a host of world and Olympic champions who will continue their preparations for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Besides Duplantis, the likes of world champions Sha’Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman, as well Olympic champion Hansle Parchment, world and Olympic champion Lijiao Gong, as well as Chase Jackson (formerly Ealey), are also slated to compete at the meeting this weekend.

Where to watch the Suzhou Diamond League
Fans can watch live streaming coverage of the Wanda Diamond League event in Suzhou on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube page from 7:00 pm local time to 7:00 a.m. ET. The live stream will NOT be available in all territories so check with the list provided by World Athletics to see your region broadcasters.

The day’s schedule is slated to begin on Saturday with the women’s long jump at 5:45 a.m. ET and the main program is kicking off with the women’s 400m race.
The Wanda Diamond League is the premier series of one-day athletics meetings, consisting of 15 of the most esteemed events in global track and field. Athletes vie for points across the opening 14 series meetings to secure a spot in the highly anticipated two-day Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 13th-14th.
