Amurrioko Nazioarteko VII Krosa results from the World Athletics Cross Country Silver Tour 2025 meeting held in Amurrio, Spain, on Sunday, December 28, 2025. The event saw Spain’s Younes Kniya repeat as title winner on the men’s side, while Kenya’s Dorcus Chepkwemoi dominated the women’s VII Cross Internacional de Amurrio race.
In the men’s category, 30-year-old Spanish-Moroccan athlete Kniya cruised to victory with a time of 28:29, which is quicker than his 2024 winning time of 29:04.
Kenyan runner Brian Kiptoo, who impressed in Venta de Baños on 21 December, finished in second place with 28:35, while Spanish champion Yahya Aouina El Karboubi had to settle for third place in 28:48 but improved on his fifth-place finish a week ago in Venta de Baños.

The top five finishers in the men’s VII Cross Internacional de Amurrio race were completed by Spain’s Javier Guerra, who was fourth with a time of 28:54, and Kenya’s Kelvin Kororia with 29:07.
In the women’s race, meanwhile, Dorcus Chepkwemoi of Kenya won with a time of 32:41, while there were three Spanish athletes in the top five.
Collecting the runner-up spot was Naima Ait Alibou of Spain, who initially attempted to keep close to Chepkwemoi during the contest before losing pace but was rewarded with a time of 33:17, followed by Ecuadorian Katherine Tisalema, who ran 33:37 for third place.
Spaniards Lidia Campo, with 34:04, and Irene Pelayo at 34:09 rounded out the top five.
