Complete Men’s Two Mile Start List: 2026 Millrose Games – Kerr, Wightman and Hocker More

NEW YORK, (Jan 31) — The following is the starting list for what is expected to be an exciting men’s two-mile field at the 2026 Millrose Games on Sunday, one of the marquee events of the World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold series. A host of Americans, as well as Great Britain’s Josh Kerr and Jake Wightman, will lead a deep field that will be aiming to challenge the event’s world best time of 8:00.67, set by Kerr in 2024.

The meet, taking place at The Nike Track & Field Center at The Armory in New York City, will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed live on Peacock, while the early broadcast will be available on Runnerspace: Watch Sunday Live Here

The men’s two-mile race is expected to be among the highlights of the annual indoor meet, featuring top international distance stars and several prominent Americans.

Kerr, the reigning Olympic 1500m champion, and Wightman, a former world 1500m gold medalist, will face Olympic 1500m champion Cole Hocker of the United States and Grant Fisher, the double Olympic bronze medalist. Australia’s Ky Robinson, the world indoor bronze medalist, and Eritrea’s Habtom Samuel, the reigning NCAA cross country champion, also strengthen the field.
