Two-time world indoor champion and world record holder Devynne Charlton and twice outdoor world champion Danielle Williams will headline the women’s 60m hurdles at the 2026 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix — a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold event to be held on Saturday, 24 January, at The Track at New Balance in Boston, Massachusetts.

Bahamian hurdler Charlton, the reigning indoor champion who claimed back-to-back titles in 2024 and 2025, is set to make her season debut in Boston. She enters the meet as the favorite, continuing her preparations for the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland, scheduled for March 20–22.

The 30-year-old holds the world record, national record, and personal best of 7.65 seconds, a time she set in Glasgow in 2024. After finishing third in consecutive years at the Grand Prix, Charlton will aim to return to winning form — her last victory at this meet came in 2023.

Her top challenger, Jamaica’s Danielle Williams, the 2015 and 2023 world 100m hurdles champion, opened her season strongly with a 7.94-second win at the Clemson Invitational earlier this month.

Williams, 33, who last won the Boston event in 2022 when the meet was temporarily relocated to Staten Island’s Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex due to COVID-19, hopes to edge closer to her lifetime best of 7.75 seconds.

Rounding out the competitive field are Gabby Cunningham of the United States, the 2022 world indoor bronze medalist, and fellow American Christina Clemons, the 2018 world indoor silver medalist, both of whom have shown promising early-season form.

Jamaica’s Megna Simmonds and Great Britain’s Emma Nwofor will also line up in Boston.

Fans can watch the 2026 New Balance Indoor Grand Prix live on NBC and the Peacock stream from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 24.
