NEW YORK — Jordan Anthony, the reigning Bowerman Award winner, headlines a star-studded field for the men’s 60 meters at the 118th Millrose Games, meet organizers announced Monday.
Anthony will face Jamaican record holder Ackeem Blake and defending champion Marcellus Moore when they toe the line on February 1 at The Armory. In the men’s 60-meter hurdles, Cordell Tinch, Daniel Roberts, and Dylan Beard will compete in what organizers are billing as the centerpiece sprint events of the U.S. indoor season’s premier meet.

For the men’s 60m dash, 21-year-old Jordan Anthony brings considerable momentum into his Millrose debut after a dominant 2024 campaign that saw him sweep both the 60m and 100m titles at the NCAA and SEC championships while competing for Arkansas. His personal best of 6.47 seconds, set last season, ranked as the third-fastest time globally in 2024 and ties him for sixth on the collegiate all-time list.
“Jordan has established himself as one of the brightest young talents in sprinting,” meet director Ray Flynn said in a statement released Monday. “His transition to the professional ranks has been seamless, and we’re thrilled to have him making his Millrose debut.”
Anthony signed with Adidas following his collegiate season and relocated to Clermont, Florida, where he trains under coach Lance Brauman alongside Olympic champion Noah Lyles.
Blake enters as the field’s most credentialed athlete over the distance, having clocked 6.42 seconds outdoors in 2023 to establish the Jamaican national record. The sprinter, who claimed World Indoor bronze in Glasgow in 2024, posted a 6.45 indoor best but sat out the entire 2025 indoor campaign. This marks Blake’s second Millrose appearance after finishing third in 2024.
Moore returns to defend the title he captured last February with a winning time of 6.56. The veteran sprinter narrowly missed qualifying for the U.S. team at the 2024 World Indoor Championships by .01 seconds before breaking through outdoors, dipping under 10 seconds for the first time with a 9.96 clocking in Canada and placing eighth at the U.S. Championships.
Olympic champion Julien Alfred was confirmed to race in the women’s 60m and will take on USA’s Jacious Sears and Celera Barnes.
