BOSTON, Massachusetts, (Jan 13) — World champions Cordell Tinch and Anna Hall have been confirmed for the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on Saturday, Jan. 24, organizers said on Tuesday, adding star power to a World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting staged at The TRACK at New Balance.
Tinch, the reigning world champion over 110 metres hurdles, will top the billing in the men’s 60m hurdles as he chases a first victory at the meet. He arrives after a standout 2025 season that included Wanda Diamond League wins in Silesia, Lausanne and Zurich before taking the global title in Tokyo.

The American ended 2025 as the clear world No. 1, highlighted by three of the year’s five sub-13.00 runs in the 110m hurdles and a personal best 12.87, which makes him the joint fourth-fastest performer in history.
Hall, the 2025 world heptathlon champion, will make her New Balance Indoor Grand Prix debut with a two-event programme — the long jump and 400m. The former Florida and Georgia collegiate standout has been among the leading multi-event athletes for several years, taking heptathlon bronze in 2022 and silver in 2023 at the World Athletics Championships, and owning a personal best that ranks second on the all-time list behind Jackie Joyner-Kersee.
In the long jump, Hall is due to face 2024 Olympic bronze medalist Jasmine Moore and reigning world indoor champion Claire Bryant. The trio were college teammates at the University of Florida.
They join a field that already includes Noah Lyles, Jake Wightman, Grant Fisher, Elle St. Pierre, Josh Hoey, Graham Blanks, Andrew Coscoran, and Jessica Hull.
The New Balance Indoor Grand Prix meet will be shown live on NBC from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jan. 24. Overall World Athletics Indoor Tour winners receive $10,000 and a guaranteed place at the 2026 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland.
