Anais Bourgoin set a new French national 600m at the 2026 Millrose Games with 1:26.17, while Doris Lemngole and Jane Hedengren break collegiate 3000m record.

NEW YORK (Feb 1) – France’s Anais Bourgoin shattered her national record in the women’s 600 metres at the Millrose Games on Sunday, clocking 1:26.17 to erase a mark that had stood since 2019.

The 29-year-old European bronze medalist in 2024 finished fourth behind American star Roisin Willis, who won in a personal best 1:24.87 to crack the all-time top 10 U.S. performers at the distance. Willis, competing in her first season as a professional with New Balance, was following up on her American record 1:57.97 for 800m, which was set just two days earlier in Boston.

On Sunday in New York, Bourgoin ran controlled splits of 26.88 and 55.53 seconds through 200m and 400m before closing in 30.64 to better Claudia Saunders’ previous French record of 1:28.52, set in Staten Island in 2019.
