FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (Feb 11) – Olympic 100 metres champion Noah Lyles will make his long-awaited return to the indoor 200m at the 2026 Tyson Invitational, taking place Feb. 13–14 at the Randal Tyson Track Center in Fayetteville.
Lyles, who captured 100m gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, owns eight World Athletics titles, including four over 200m, one in the 100m, and three in the 4x100m relay. At the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, he completed a rare sprint triple with golds in the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m relay.
The 28-year-old American holds the U.S. 200m record of 19.31 seconds, set in winning the 2022 world title in Eugene, Oregon, and is ranked No. 3 among the all-time performers behind world record holder Usain Bolt. He also earned Olympic bronze in the 200m at both Tokyo 2021 and Paris 2024.
