World and European indoor 60m champion Jeremiah Azu makes his first domestic appearance since his win in Düsseldorf on January 24. The sprinter aims for a fourth national title when he faces Romell Glave, the European 100m bronze medallist who beat him earlier this season at the Bauhaus-galan Indoor meeting.
On the women’s side, six-time European champion Dina Asher-Smith returns after wins at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix and the 118th Millrose Games. The 2019 world 200m champion holds a season best of 7.08 seconds and is entered in both the 60m and 200m. She will be tested by world 200m silver medallist Amy Hunt, who recorded a personal best 7.09 in Belgrade.
Keely Hodgkinson, the Olympic 800m silver medallist, is set for a fierce contest with Isabelle Boffey, currently the world’s second-fastest in the event this year. Josh Kerr, 2023 world 1500m champion, will target another national crown over 3000m. Ben Pattison, the 2023 world 800m bronze medallist, and double European U20 champion Innes FitzGerald also feature in the middle-distance fields.
The women’s pole vault brings the return of reigning world indoor champion Molly Caudery, competing for the first time this season.
