ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada (April 6) — The 53rd Carifta Games 2026 enters its final day at the Kirani James Athletic Stadium on Monday, with a full slate of finals and medal races set to highlight the closing action in St. George’s, Grenada.

The regional junior championship, staged over three days from April 4–6, is part of the 2026 World Athletics Combined Events Tour Challenger series and features the Caribbean’s best under-17 and under-20 athletes.

Live streaming coverage is available on the World Athletics+ platform and FloTrack in the United States, with local broadcast streaming via the Grenada Broadcasting Network Channel 7. Fans can follow updated results and event scores online throughout the day.

Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. with the Girls’ Heptathlon long jump, followed by the U17 Javelin Throw at 9:05 a.m. and the U20 High Jump at 9:10 a.m. Track action opens with 100m hurdles heats for U17 girls at 9:20 a.m. and continues through the sprint relay semi-finals before midday.

The evening program begins at 3:15 p.m. with the Girls’ Discus Throw and continues with the sprint hurdles and middle-distance finals, culminating in the highly anticipated 4x400m relay races. Medal ceremonies will close the games on Monday night.
