Results: Top American finishers at the Boston Marathon 2026; Zouhair Talbi & Jess McClain

BOSTON (April 20) — John Korir and Sharon Lokedi defended their Boston Marathon titles Monday, while Zouhair Talbi and Jess McClain led the American finishers in the 2026 race. Korir set a course record, and Lokedi won by a comfortable margin on a fast day in Boston.

Talbi was the top American man, finishing fifth overall in 2:03:45. McClain was the top American woman, also fifth overall, in 2:20:49. – Read Also: Kenyans John Korir and Sharon Lokedi repeat as Boston Marathon champions

Talbi’s performance drew particular attention because his time was described as the fastest Boston Marathon time ever by an American, quicker than the 2:04:58 run by Ryan Hall in 2011. McClain’s 2:20:49 was described as the fastest Boston time ever by an American woman. She was also the top American finisher last year.

Annie Frisbie was 8th overall on the women’s side with 2:22:00, while American record holder, Emily Sisson was 9th overall with 2:22:39.

On the men’s side, Charles Hicks (7th overall, 2:04:35), Clayton Young (11th overall, 2:05:41), Ryan Ford (12th overall, 2:05:46), and Joe Klecker (13th overall, 2:05:56) all finished in the top 15.
