Day 1: How to Watch the 2026 U.S. Track and Field Outdoor Championships Live Stream, Schedule

NEW YORK (23 July) — The 2026 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships kick off Thursday at Ichan Stadium in New York, bringing together the nation’s best track and field athletes to compete for national titles over four days.

The meet runs July 23-26, with Thursday’s action beginning at 1:01 p.m. EDT. Fans who can’t attend in person can watch live on Peacock and USATF.tv from noon to 4 p.m., with USATF.tv continuing coverage through 10 p.m. The championships will also be broadcast on NBCSN. Follow Live Results Here

The men’s Decathlon opens the day at 1:01 p.m., followed 15 minutes later by the women’s Heptathlon. Both multi-events are grueling two-day competitions that test athletes across a range of sprints, jumps and throws.

The sprint events heat up at 4:23 p.m. with the men’s 100m first round. Noah Lyles, Kenny Bednarek, Christian Coleman and Maximilian Thomas are among the headliners. The women’s 100m first round, featuring Sha’Carri Richardson, Jenna Prandini, Kaila Jackson, Tamari Davis and Jassani Carter, follows at 4:56 p.m.

Two finals close out the evening. The women’s 10,000m — roughly 6.2 miles on the track — goes at 7:35 p.m., with the men’s 10,000m to follow at 8:12 p.m.

Field event finals on Thursday include the women’s javelin throw at 5:40 p.m., the men’s long jump at 6:10 p.m. and the men’s hammer throw at 7:30 p.m.

The 1500m and steeplechase first rounds are also on the schedule, setting up those event finals for later in the week.
