Olympic medalists Kenny Bednarek and Twanisha Terry headline the 29-member team representing the United States at the World Athletics Relays 2025 in Guangzhou, scheduled for May 10-11.

Bednarek, who earned two silver medals in the 200m at the Olympics in Tokyo and Paris, has been in top form this season and he will be hoping to transfer that form over to the world relays next month.

The 26-year-old will be joined by the likes of Courtney Lindsey and Kyree King, both of whom contributed to the US men’s 4x100m triumph at the previous World Athletics Relays in The Bahamas. They will reunite in Guangzhou with world 200m silver medalist Erriyon Knighton, along with Brandon Hicklin, Lance Lang, and Kendal Williams.

The former USC sprinter will compete alongside 2022 world indoor 60m silver medallist Mikiah Brisco, Kennedy Blackmon and Cambrea Sturgis.

Elsewhere, the women’s 4x400m team includes Kendall Ellis, who won a bronze medal in the mixed 4x400m at the Tokyo Olympics, and Lynna Irby-Jackson, who claimed gold in the 4x400m and bronze in the mixed 4x400m. Bailey Lear rounds out the squad.

The men’s 4x400m team features Elija Godwin, who also earned a bronze in Tokyo’s mixed 4x400m event.

Pjai Austin will join the likes of King, Blackmon, Jada Mowatt and Kayla White, as part of the mixed 4x100m relay, with Johnnie Blockburger, Courtney Okolo, and Chris Robinson featuring in the mixed 4x400m relay.

At the 2024 World Relays, the US team secured wins in men’s and women’s 4x100m, as well as the women’s and mixed 4x400m events.
