The 2022 Manchester Road Race will take place on Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, 24 November and you can watch this World Athletics Label Road Race event online. A live radio broadcast is also available for those wishing to listen to audio commentary instead.
More than 10,000 runners and walkers are slated to participate in the 2022 Manchester Road Race – the only road race of its length to be televised in the United States – and FOX61 and FOX61+ will provide the live broadcast and lives stream on Thursday morning.
The 86th staging of the Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving Day will begin at 9:00 a.m. and runs through to 10:45 a.m. on FOX61 and the FOX61+ app. Fans can watch the event on their favored device from the App which is available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV. Speaking ahead of the event, race director Jim Balcome, who is stepping down after 47 years leading the event, said “This is Thanksgiving in Manchester. All runners and walkers are treated equally from the top finishers to the last person to cross the finish line. The broadcast and livestream will help convey that sentiment to a wide audience.
Meanwhile, FOX61 is looking forward to broadcasting the race live for all the viewers across the United States, and especially for those in Connecticut.

The FOX61 live coverage from the 2022 Manchester Road Race begins on Thanksgiving Day at 4:00 a.m. on The FOX61 Morning News, Connecticut’s only all-local all-morning newscast. The race broadcast is hosted by FOX61 News anchors Tim Lammers and Erika Arias, along with race analyst Ian Brooks.
In the meantime, for those looking to follow the live radio coverage, WTIC Newstalk 1080 will once again broadcast the Manchester Road Race on Thanksgiving Day, LIVE. The organizers announced that Brian Shactman will host a remote broadcast from Main Street in Manchester on Thanksgiving morning from 5:30 a.m.-9:45. a.m.
