Des Moines, Iowa: 2025 Grand Blue Mile Results - USATF 1 Mile Championship

The 2025 Drake Relays weekend kick-off with a pair of fast mile races during the USATF Women's 1 Mile Championship and the follow are the top Grand Blue 2025 results from day's action, which took place on Tuesday, 22 April in Des Moines, Iowa.

Krissy Gear used a strong late surge to win the women's race on her way to setting a new American record with a time of 4:23.98. The top three was completed by Karissa Schweizer at 4:24.40 and Gracie Morris with 4:24.73.

Vince Ciattei won the men's contest with a time of 3:54.55 and was followed by Sam Ellis, Decatur (3:54.95) and Craig Engels (3:55.09) in second and third place, respectively.
