CALIFORNIA – Sound Running’s The TEN, a World Athletics Silver level meeting, will take place on Saturday night, March 4, at the San Juan Capistrano High School Track in Southern California.
The event will feature men’s and women’s world-class 10,000m fields, including top American and international athletes who are aiming to attain the World Athletics Championships 2023 Automatic Qualifying standards.

The 2023 Sound Running’s The TEN event is a World Athletics Silver Label event, and racers will contend for the win, compete for valuable World Athletics points, and make their marks on the evening of March 4th in the high-speed racing over 25 laps on the oval.
The men’s entrants also include Nils Voigt, Alex Masai, Luis Grijalva, Emmanuel Bor, Kanta Shimizu, and pacemaker Ollie Ho are. It is worth noting that 14 of the 20 starters on the men’s side have run the 10,000m in under 28 minutes.
The men’s World Athletics Championships 2023 auto qualifying standard is 27:10, and it remains to be seen if anyone can trouble Sound Running’s record by Grant Fisher of 26:33.84.
The other women’s top entrants include Dani Shanahan, Fiona O’Keeffe.
