The regional powerhouse currently dominates the medal standings, leading both the boys’ and girls’ categories.

The host nation, Bahamas, took second place, with a total of 17 medals, including several golds, while Trinidad and Tobago closed out Day One with a combined total of 16 medals, five of which are golds.
